Specialized Food Plan


Megan's knowledge of nutrition coupled with her understanding of every client’s need to maintain an everyday diet means specialized food plans that work. Height, weight, exercise level, goals, and current diet are considered as Megan develops customized food plans—each tailored to clients’ weight loss, training, or general health goals.

Specialized food plans may be completed following an in-person visit, phone call or via email.

 

Grocery Store Visit

Prior to stepping into grocery stores, Megan consults clients to gain understanding of their current eating habits. Instead of attempting drastic changes in diet that are impossible to maintain, Megan incorporates healthy, satisfying, and realistic alternatives into clients' grocery shopping routines. Megan believes there are healthy choices in every market, and “healthy” does not mean “expensive,” and will find healthy choices wherever clients typically shop.

Grocery store visits are in-person visits with Megan.

 

Counseling

Altering diet is often a challenge. Individualized counseling sessions with Megan allow clients access to a personal dietary specialist, coach, and support as they change eating habits and integrate different items into diets. If an exercise or food plan is not working with a client’s lifestyle, Megan strives to find successful, maintainable alternatives.

Counseling sessions may be conducted in person or via phone or email.

 

Exercise

Personal Coaching

Megan’s personal coaching sessions are tailored to individual likes and needs. At the start of coaching, Megan gathers an exercise history and background of each client, and collaboratively builds a future timeline of desired benchmarks and goals. Whether a client has not exercised in five years and would like to begin jogging with her husband, or is determined to shave minutes off their upcoming triathlon time, Megan will design a dynamic and challenging workout program. A motivator and ally, Megan is alongside clients through each session of personal coaching.

Personal Coaching is in-person, one-on-one workouts with Megan.

 

Training Program

Megan’s knowledge of exercise and fitness comes from personal experience. Before races, Megan determines her own goals and develops a roadmap to success. Megan also asks that clients share their exercise history and what they hope to gain long-term from the program. Megan has worked with college-aged athletes who wish to lose weight to gain speed, women with weight-loss goals, and casual joggers who would like to finish their first half-marathon in three months.

Training programs are designed following a consultation via phone or email.
